Established in 1997The core program offering of Monark Foundation is the 2-year

Heavy Equipment Servicing NCIIAlso offers courses in Office Management and Automotive

Servicing NCIIFor short course offerings, it offers Heavy Equipment

Operations NCII, and Electrical Course on Power Generation.As of 2014, the foundation has graduated 1,242 scholars in

the core program for heavy equipment and over 2,000 participants in its short

programs.The employment rate of graduates is 92%, truly living up to

Monark Foundation’s mission of providing opportunities to the less privileged

Filipino youth.

responsible individuals making a difference in creating a better world. OUR MISSION

To offer opportunities to determined individuals by

providing them knowledge, skills and values that would enable them to become

responsible members of society. To form industry partnerships by making available highly

skilled and value laden workforce with the required competencies ensuring

improved work quality and increased productivity.

WHAT ELSE DO WE DO IN MONARK FOUNDATION?

Aside from providing our scholars with the necessary skills

to become highly skilled Mechanics, we also provide them with formation

activities. We provide them with the following:

Leadership trainingRecollection before graduationRetreatCoaching/CounselingTeam-building activities (Sports fest, Summer get-together,

etc.

We also instill in our students the value of praying. We

have daily rosary for the Catholics and bible sharing for the Non-Catholics.

Furthermore, we conduct home visitations to get to know our scholars more,

including their families. We also involve them in outreach activities at least

once a year.

HOW CAN YOU BECOME A SPONSOR?The C.O.L.A. for SCHOLARS

For Php24,000.00, you can already help one (1) scholar

for 8 months. This amount will support his expenses on the following items:Daily mealsTransportationBoarding house rentOther related expensesWe are aiming to get sponsors for 40 incoming students who

will start on February 2017.

Why 8 months?

Our Heavy Equipment Servicing NC II course requires 2 years

of training. Eight (8) months is for their in-school training and fourteen (14)

months for their in-plant training/on-the-job training.Funds gathered from the C.O.L.A. for Scholars initiative

will help support the cost of living allowance of our scholars during their

in-school training.
