Help Us Replace Misinformation with Education and Fight the Anti-Israeli BDS Campaign
North American campuses have seen an alarming rise in anti-Israel and anti-Semitic incidents in recent years with the growth of the BDS movement as well as instances of general discrimination and hate speech. The Campus Israel Fellows program brings dozens of Israeli young adults to college and university campuses around the world – to help create and maintain safe spaces for education, tolerance, and diversity. College offers many students a chance to learn about Israel or deepen their understanding of and love for the country; yet anti-Israel sentiment and activism are all too commonplace on campus. The Jewish Agency recognizes the need to support Jewish college students in this hostile and challenging reality and is doing so by creating an authentic and engaging Israeli presence on university grounds. In partnership with Hillel, the largest Jewish campus organization in the world, we’ve created the Israel Campus Fellows program. The Fellow’s job is to confront attitudes toward Israel, substituting education for misinformation, while giving students a chance to develop a personal relationship with Israelis and learn what Israel is really all about.
