A home is what thousands of children have found in Bantay Bata 163 Children’s Village since its establishment in May of 2003. Located on a 2.5 hectare piece of land in Norzagaray, Bulacan, it serves as a shelter for abused children rescued by Bantay Bata 163, where they heal and recover from the trauma of abuse and exploitation. The Children’s Village provides holistic healing through physical and psychological means in a therapeutic, family-like environment. Bantay Bata 163 will also equip these children with necessary life skills through Resiliency Programs, Productivity Skills Training, and Livelihood Development Program, as they prepare for their reintegration into the society. Values Formation support will also be given to parents and families of the abused children to help them heal and move forward.After 15 years, the doors to the Children’s Village are re-opening to give even more children who are victims of abuse, exploitation and neglect, the care, hope and a brighter future they deserve.
